We also ask that customer refrain from bringing any food or drink to our facility at this time.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
At The Locked Room we offer our players a variable pricing model: the bigger your group, the more you save!
Groups of 2 are able to book in at $36.75 per person.
Groups of 3 get a better price of $33.25 per person.
Groups of 4+ get our best price: $29.75 per person.
All of our escape rooms are private events so it’ll just be you and your group who are playing together. You can see available times and make a booking through our online booking system.

HOW DO WE BOOK A LOCKED ROOM?
ARE YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS PRIVATE?
Yes! All of our escape rooms are reserved as a whole for only your group to play, this means that you will never be paired with other groups in your Locked Room adventures.
At The Locked Room we strive to provide the best overall escape room experience and since a lot of the fun of playing an escape room is derived from interacting and solving puzzles together with your friends and co-workers, we keep all of our escape rooms booked privately.
If you are a larger group and looking to reserve multiple Locked Rooms or reserve all of the escape rooms at a Locked Room facility for a private function please refer to our: private facility rental packages
WHAT IF I HAVE SOME EXTRA PLAYERS?
No problem! Extra players (up to the maximum room capacity) can pay upon arrival.
If you now have more players than the listed maximum room capacity please contact us and we will be able to move your group to a more suitable escape room for your group’s size.
CAN WE EXCEED THE ROOM CAPACITY?
Maybe. It depends on the particular room and if you want to bring one extra person or four extras. Several of our escape rooms have strict capacity limits due to the room size and fire codes.

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
If you are booking a room more than 24 hours in advance we kindly ask that it be pre-booked through our online booking system as our escape room times are limited and rooms can fill up days or even weeks in advance for peak time-slots.

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
Locked Room age restrictions:
Under 6 years of age: Children under 6 years of age are prohibited from playing any of our escape rooms.
6 to 11 years of age: Participants between the ages of 6 and 11 years of age can play our escape rooms but must have at least one adult (18+) present within the group.
12 and over: There are no restrictions for participants ages 12 and older.
Our recommended age for participating in The Locked Room is 12 and over. Participants under the age of 12 may find some of the puzzles too difficult to solve.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
No, you do not need to bring your confirmation email but please bring your ID with you so that we can confirm your booking.
WHEN SHOULD I SHOW UP FOR MY BOOKING?
We are on a tight schedule, please plan accordingly & notify your teammates to show up 10 minutes prior to your start time. Teams that arrive more than 5 minutes after their listed start time will have their game time reduced accordingly.
DO YOU DO CORPORATE TEAMBUILDING?
Yes, please view our full facility rental package page. We can coordinate events of any size, but our maximum people playing at the same time in any of our Locked Room facilities is 30 people. Groups larger than 30 people will be required to split their group up into two different start times.
LOCKED ROOM GENERAL QUESTIONS
ARE THERE POP OUT SCARES?
No, it is Locked Room’s policy not to do any pop-out scares in the escape rooms.
ARE THE ROOMS DARK?
As with most escape rooms some of our rooms have creepy or dark settings. Lights are given out to players for all of our dark rooms. Please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for specific questions about our escape rooms.
HOW MANY TEAMS ESCAPE?
How experienced a group is, how many players are in that group, and how willing the players are in asking to get a hint when they are stuck are all big factors in whether a group will succeed or not. In broad terms, our most “advanced rooms” might see only 10% of groups complete all of the challenges in time, while an “easier room” might see about 50% of groups escape!
We like to remind players that the real goal is to challenge yourselves but still have fun! So book the story or theme that most appeals to you, and don’t be afraid to ask for a hint when you need one. Specific room difficulty ratings are available on our bookings page.
CAN WE GET A HINT IF WE ARE STUCK?
You may request a hint from The Locked Room staff at any time. Generally we recommend asking for a nudge if your team has been stuck for 8 – 12 minutes.
ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Unfortunately at this time all Locked Room escape adventures are not wheelchair accessible.
IS IT OKAY IF WE BRING SOMETHING TO EAT / DRINK ?

Yes, we are always creating new escape adventures and puzzles. The escape room themes are changed periodically.

CANCELLATIONS & BOOKING CHANGES
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations or changes made to bookings more than 48 hours away: We will fully refund your purchase to the credit card that was used when making the booking. You can cancel your booking by logging into your account page here: view my bookings.
Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to process.
For changes to your booking please contact us.
Cancellation made within 48 hours of start time: No refunds will be provided, but we will provide a full credit on your account to use towards a future booking. Please email us at: email@example.com prior to your start time to request a credit for your Locked Room account or to reschedule your start time.
No shows: A booking is considered a no-show if we aren’t notified about a booking cancellation at least 3 hours prior to the start of the booking. No refunds or credit will be given for no shows. If your group does have a cancellation or partial cancellation please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org at least 3 hours prior booking start time to receive Locked Room credit towards a future booking.
