All of our rooms cost $24.95 a person and you can see available times and make a booking through our online booking system.

HOW DO WE BOOK A LOCKED ROOM?
ARE YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS PRIVATE?
Yes! As of January 3rd, 2017 all of our escape rooms are booked privately. This means that you will never be paired with strangers in your Locked Room adventure.
At The Locked Room we strive to provide the best overall escape room experience and since the fun of playing an escape room is derived from interacting and solving puzzles with your teammates we won’t let your experience be determined by playing with people that you don’t know.
If you made a booking prior to January 3rd and would like a private room experience please contact us and we can ensure that your booking will be private.

I BOOKED FOR X PEOPLE BUT NOW I HAVE Y
No problem! Extra players (up to the maximum room capacity) can either pay on arrival, or you can change your booking to add more players and pre-pay online through the my bookings area
If you now have more players than the listed maximum room capacity please contact us and we will be able to move your group to a more suitable escape room for your group’s size.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM TEAM SIZE?
Depending on the escape room you choose the game will have a minimum room size of either 3 or 4 people. Please check our online booking system for the specific room sizes. We do not allow group sizes of 2 to play our Locked Room adventures.
CAN WE EXCEED THE ROOM CAPACITY?
Several of our escape rooms have strict capacity limits due to the room size and fire codes.
If you have more players than the listed capacity please give us a call at 587-387-2337 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help move your group to a more suitable escape room for your group size.
DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
If you are booking a room more than 24 hours in advance we kindly ask that it be pre-booked through our online booking system as our escape room times are limited and rooms can fill up days or even weeks in advance for peak time-slots.

Minimum and maximum capacities for our escape rooms still apply for walk-in bookings.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
Locked Room age restrictions:
Under 6 years of age: Children under 6 years of age are strictly prohibited from entering any of our escape rooms.
6 to 11 years of age: Participants between the ages of 6 and 11 years of age can play our escape rooms but must have at least one adult (18+) present in the group.
12 and over: There are no restrictions for participants ages 12 and older.
Our recommended age for participating in The Locked Room is 12 and over. Participants under the age of 12 may find some of the puzzles too confusing or difficult to solve.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
No, you do not need to bring your confirmation email but please bring your ID with you so that we can confirm your booking.
WHEN SHOULD I SHOW UP FOR MY BOOKING?
We recommend showing up 15 minutes prior to your start time. We need to have the escape rooms start on time for future bookings throughout the day. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your escape room start time we may need to re-schedule your booking for a different time or reduce your group’s time in the escape room.
DO YOU DO CORPORATE TEAMBUILDING?
Yes, we book private & corporate events on weekdays. We can coordinate events of any size, but our maximum people playing at the same time in our facilities is 30 people. Groups larger than 30 people will be required to split their group up into two different start times. Please visit our full facility rental packages for details.

ARE THERE POP OUT SCARES?
No, it is Locked Room’s policy not to do any pop-out scares in the escape rooms.
ARE THE ROOMS DARK?
As with most escape rooms some of our rooms have creepy or dark settings. Lights are given out to players for all of our dark rooms. Please email us at: email@example.com for specific questions about our escape rooms.
DO YOU USE STROBE LIGHT EFFECTS?
There are no strobe light effects in any of our Locked Rooms.
HOW MANY TEAMS ESCAPE?
We do our best to keep our room escape rates up to date on the homepage of our website. Our escape rooms are designed to have escape rates between 5% and 50% depending on the room.
If you are struggling with a puzzle you may ask for a hint from our staff while in the escape room. Doing so will disqualify you from being on our leaderboard.
CAN WE GET A HINT IF WE ARE STUCK?
You may request a hint from The Locked Room staff using our escape room hint doorbell.
ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
At this time unfortunately none of our escape rooms are wheelchair accessible.
DO YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS CHANGE?
Yes, we are always creating new escape adventures and puzzles. The escape room themes are changed periodically.

Booking cancellations and changes
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations or changes made to bookings more than 48 hours away: We will fully refund your purchase to the credit card that was used when making the booking. You can cancel your booking by logging into your account page here: view my bookings.
Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to process.
Cancellation made within 48 hours of start time: No refunds will be provided, but we will provide a full credit on your account to use towards a future booking. Please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your start time to request a credit for your Locked Room account or to reschedule your start time.
No shows: A booking is considered a no-show if we aren’t notified about a booking cancellation at least 1 hour prior to the start of the booking. No refunds or credit will be given for no shows. If your group does have a cancellation or partial cancellation please email us at: email@example.com at least 1 hour prior booking start time to receive Locked Room credit towards a future booking.
